I find out that there are only two Starwood hotels in Cabo which is the Westin Resort &amp; Spa, Los Cabos and the Sheraton Hacienda del Mar Golf &amp; Spa Resort, Los Cabos.\u00a0The Westin is going for $169 + taxes which is $199.42. The Sheraton is going for $175 + taxes which is $206.50. Both properties are Category 4 requiring 10,000 Starpoints for a free night redemption. Cash and Points are available for 5,000 Starpoints + $75 which I consider a good deal.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/pointssummary\/files\/2013\/07\/useaahotels5.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4170\" alt=\"useaahotels5\" src=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/pointssummary\/files\/2013\/07\/useaahotels5.jpg\" width=\"649\" height=\"732\" srcset=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/pointssummary\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/\/sites\/12\/2013\/07\/useaahotels5.jpg 649w, http:\/\/first2board.com\/pointssummary\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/\/sites\/12\/2013\/07\/useaahotels5-265x300.jpg 265w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 649px) 100vw, 649px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re swimming in American Airlines AAdvantage miles like myself, you can redeem miles for hotel rooms. I wrote a primer on <a href=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/pointssummary\/2013\/05\/07\/how-to-use-american-airlines-aadvantage-miles-and-elite-status-for-hotel-rooms\/\" target=\"_blank\">How To Use American Airlines AAdvantage Miles And Elite Status For Hotel Rooms<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I fired up the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.useaamiles.com\" target=\"_blank\">UseAAmiles.com<\/a> search engine and looked for hotels in Cabo. The first property looks like a dangerous shack for 2,800 miles and the second property is a Wellness Center for 4,000 miles. Well, what can you expect for less than 4,000 miles at Cabo?<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/pointssummary\/files\/2013\/07\/useaahotels1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4166\" alt=\"useaahotels1\" src=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/pointssummary\/files\/2013\/07\/useaahotels1.jpg\" width=\"748\" height=\"761\" srcset=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/pointssummary\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/\/sites\/12\/2013\/07\/useaahotels1.jpg 748w, http:\/\/first2board.com\/pointssummary\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/\/sites\/12\/2013\/07\/useaahotels1-294x300.jpg 294w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 748px) 100vw, 748px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I noticed the Bahia Hotel is going for 11,500 miles with a caption that says Hot Deal: 15% Off! The Westin is going for 12,000 miles with a caption that says Hot Deal: 30% Off, which is a huge jump in discount.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/pointssummary\/files\/2013\/07\/useaahotels2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4167\" alt=\"useaahotels2\" src=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/pointssummary\/files\/2013\/07\/useaahotels2.jpg\" width=\"753\" height=\"687\" srcset=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/pointssummary\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/\/sites\/12\/2013\/07\/useaahotels2.jpg 753w, http:\/\/first2board.com\/pointssummary\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/\/sites\/12\/2013\/07\/useaahotels2-300x273.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 753px) 100vw, 753px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>But wait, the next hotel has a caption that reads, Hot Deal: 44% Off, following by Limited Time Offer! at the Sheraton Hacienda del Mar.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/pointssummary\/files\/2013\/07\/useaahotels3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4168\" alt=\"useaahotels3\" src=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/pointssummary\/files\/2013\/07\/useaahotels3.jpg\" width=\"747\" height=\"675\" srcset=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/pointssummary\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/\/sites\/12\/2013\/07\/useaahotels3.jpg 747w, http:\/\/first2board.com\/pointssummary\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/\/sites\/12\/2013\/07\/useaahotels3-300x271.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 747px) 100vw, 747px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s the real kicker: The Hotel Finisterra has a caption that reads, \u201cA Sudden Amazing Price \u2013 Today only!\u201d which I found hilarious and gave me a chuckle.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/pointssummary\/files\/2013\/07\/useaahotels4.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4169\" alt=\"useaahotels4\" src=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/pointssummary\/files\/2013\/07\/useaahotels4.jpg\" width=\"751\" height=\"341\" srcset=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/pointssummary\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/\/sites\/12\/2013\/07\/useaahotels4.jpg 751w, http:\/\/first2board.com\/pointssummary\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/\/sites\/12\/2013\/07\/useaahotels4-300x136.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 751px) 100vw, 751px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I am probably going to use 12,000 AA miles to book the Westin Los Cabos or 12,600 AA miles to book the Sheraton Hacienda del Mar instead of using 10,000 Starpoints.
