There\u2019s a cool pedestrian only street called Calle Corregidora next to the Macroplaza in Monterrey, Mexico. Calle Corregidora is lined up with street vendors, shops, and restaurants. It highly resembles Las Ramblas in Barcelona but without the scammers.<\/p>\n

A tourism trolley, Tranvia Turismo Nuevo Leon was right in front of Calle Corregidora. Needless to say, the trolley was empty and I felt like the only tourist in downtown Monterrey, Mexico.<\/p>\n

It was mostly dead during the day on Calle Corregidora. Many people seemed to be wandering around and it\u2019s a popular hangout spot for locals.<\/p>\n

There were a lot of shopping plazas within the pedestrian street called Plaza Mexico and Interplaza shoptown.<\/p>\n

There were a lot of street vendors selling wares that mostly targeted children such as helium filled cartoon characters and small lucha masks.<\/p>\n

At the end of the pedestrian street, you can find more shops and restaurants. As you can see, the green taxis are plentiful and are readily available at your disposal.<\/p>\n

I went south of El Centro and saw a head monument of Benito Juarez.<\/p>\n

Towards the southern highway, there are great views of the mountains of Monterrey.<\/p>\n

I hopped on the bridge and took more amazing photos of the mountains of Monterrey.<\/p>\n
