It was much pricier than the Le Royal Meridien, but I felt the need to try out all the luxury hotels in Shanghai. I used a Suite Night Award and got confirmed into a large 775 sq. ft. I could\u2019ve taken a taxi, but I avoid them unless I absolutely have to.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/pointssummary\/files\/2013\/07\/westinbund1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-4909\" alt=\"westinbund1\" src=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/pointssummary\/files\/2013\/07\/westinbund1-768x1024.jpg\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/pointssummary\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/\/sites\/12\/2013\/07\/westinbund1-768x1024.jpg 768w, http:\/\/first2board.com\/pointssummary\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/\/sites\/12\/2013\/07\/westinbund1-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The lobby was absolutely stunning.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/pointssummary\/files\/2013\/07\/westinbund2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-4910\" alt=\"westinbund2\" src=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/pointssummary\/files\/2013\/07\/westinbund2-768x1024.jpg\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/pointssummary\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/\/sites\/12\/2013\/07\/westinbund2-768x1024.jpg 768w, http:\/\/first2board.com\/pointssummary\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/\/sites\/12\/2013\/07\/westinbund2-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I checked in and the front desk agent advised me that I was upgraded to an executive suite. He advised me that I could\u2019ve used the Towers check-in located at the opposite end. Apparently, the executive suites are all located in the Towers section of the hotel. He checked me in any way and I advised him that I would take the 500 Starpoints since there is an executive lounge for breakfast.
