Cabo San Lucas, Mexico doesn\u2019t really have its own local dish. The expats and locals typically say that you should try the fresh seafood and tequila. I only spent three days in Cabo, half of which weren\u2019t even full days to explore Los Cabos<\/a> due to the late arrival and early morning flight back to the US.<\/p>\n

I had lunch at the Sheraton Hacienda del Mar hotel<\/a> in the outdoor restaurant pool area. I ordered calamari and a Mexican seafood cocktail.<\/p>\n

The calamari was forgetful, but the Mexican seafood cocktail was delicious.<\/p>\n

At the same hotel, I went to the Tequila bar and had three types of different tequilas in a tall shot glass.<\/p>\n

For dinner, I decided to go to Mi Casa restaurant in downtown Cabo San Lucas<\/a> based on a recommendation from Susan<\/a> of Southern Travel Girl<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Mi Casa definitely had the old Spanish architecture and vibe providing an authentic Mexican experience with mariachi bands.<\/p>\n

I thought the dinner menu was pretty fair in terms of pricing. Appetizers range from $2 – $8 while entrees are priced from $10 – $20 USD.<\/p>\n

Complimentary chips and salsa were provided.<\/p>\n

To start, I ordered a Mexican seafood cocktail and two al pastor sopes.<\/p>\n

To be honest, I was already full with the seafood cocktail and the sopes and they were appetizers. Both were very delicious and the seafood was fresh.<\/p>\n

As a dinner entr\u00e9e, I ordered a whole marinated fish which came with rice, veggies, and tortillas.<\/p>\n

The fish was delicious and I made fish tacos from the tortillas. I was beyond stuffed!<\/p>\n

I had breakfast the next morning at the Tomatoes restaurant located at the Sheraton Hacienda del Mar<\/a>. A typical Mexican breakfast consists of pastries like Pan Dulce and other sweets that go well with a cup of coffee.<\/p>\n
