The targeted offer states:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Earn 30,000 bonus miles (10,000 of which count as MQMs) by spending $1,000 or more in purchases with your Card in the first 3 months of Cardmembership<\/li>\n<li>Earn 15,000 bonus miles (5,000 of which count as MQMs) after your first purchase on your Card<\/li>\n<li>Receive a $100 statement credit after you make a Delta purchase with your Card within the first three months.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>So far this year, I\u2019m at 36,361 MQM\u2019s (Medallion Qualifying Miles) and with a $1,000 spend within 3 months, I could earn 15,000 MQM\u2019s which adds up to 51,361 MQM\u2019s pushing me over for Gold Medallion status. In addition, I would also be gaining 45,000 RDM\u2019s (Redeemable Skymiles) and a $100 statement credit. All of this in exchange for a credit ding and a $150 annual fee which is not waived for the first year. Sounds temping right? Not so fast!<\/p>\n<p>First off, I won\u2019t be flying on Delta Airlines next year, so the 15,000 MQM\u2019s are of no value to me. 45,000 Skymiles is worth $450 at a minimum. Add in the $100 statement credit and you get $550 worth in exchange for a $150 annual fee and a credit ding. The net outcome will be $400. Is that worth it to me?
