One of the best parts about the Hilton Bogota is the Executive Lounge located above the hotel lobby. If you have access to the Executive Lounge, you\u2019re in for a treat because there are complimentary evening appetizers, after hours dessert bar, and breakfast. There are also plenty of complimentary alcohol, beer, bottled soft drinks, and juices to choose from.<\/p>\n

I had access to the Executive Lounge since I was a Hilton HHonors Gold member.<\/p>\n

There was plenty of seating in the main dining room and also in the TV area.<\/p>\n

During evening hour, there was ravioli, deli meats, cheeses, seafood ceviche, beef skewers, bread, and sliders.<\/p>\n

I had a little bit of everything and washed it down with a Monserrate Roja beer (bottled from the Bogota Beer Company).<\/p>\n

The dessert bar is available after evening hour. The dessert selection consisted of cookies, brownies, cake, and cream puffs.<\/p>\n

There was also whole fruit available and an espresso maker.<\/p>\n

I was too full from the evening appetizers, so I grabbed a Coke.<\/p>\n

Breakfast in the morning consisted of scrambled eggs, potatoes, arepas, bacon, deli meats, and cheese.<\/p>\n

During the last day of check-out, I missed breakfast in the executive lounge, so I ordered room service. My friend and I ordered Ajiaco, which is a local Colombian soup. The Ajiaco also came with rice, capers, and sliced avocado on the side which is typical of this Colombian dish. In addition, it came with a complimentary basket of bread with butter. It was delicious and reasonably priced for room service ($20 USD total including tax, service charge, and gratuity).<\/p>\n

I really had a good time at the Hilton Bogota and would highly recommend staying at this hotel on a weekend since it\u2019s usually under $100 a night. Points are a great option since this property soars over $300 on some weeknights. It\u2019s in a great location in a safe middle class neighborhood surrounded by luxury high rises.<\/p>\n
