Like Zona Rosa, Zona G which stands for Gastronomic Zone is located in Chapinero. In fact, Zona Rosa is adjacent to Zona G which are both located in the Chapinero neighborhood. Zona G has a separate name because of its dense gastronomy of restaurants in a small concentrated area.<\/p>\n

Zona G is where most of the middle class and upper class Colombians hang out for fine dining restaurants and upper class bars.\u00a0Bogota Beer Company is a local favorite and is home to many Colombian beers. I had the Candelaria Clasica beer which was amazingly refreshing.<\/p>\n

Ovejo Caf\u00e9 Bar is one of the most popular bars in Zona G. I had the chance to meet with the famous JohnnyColombia from FlyerTalk who resides in Bogota. He took me out for a beer at Ovejo and this place was very lively at night. I can see why this place is a local hot spot with local Colombians.<\/p>\n

Andres DC which is also known as Andres de Corazon is one of the top restaurants in Bogota. The original Andres restaurant is located north of Chapinero, Bogota in the town of Chia.<\/p>\n

This gastronomic restaurant was bustling with locals and tourists alike. I started out with a Club Colombia beer and ordered a grilled chicken entr\u00e9e with an arepa.<\/p>\n

As you can see, there are three floors inside Andres DC and this gastronomic restaurant turns into a nightclub.<\/p>\n
