Nice is a city in Southern France located on the Cote d\u2019Azur which is also known as the French Riviera. Nice is a beautiful coastal community located between the Alps and the Mediterranean Sea. I only spent one night and two days in Nice which was more than enough time for me. I thought of Nice as very touristy and somewhat Hollywood-ish because of the abundance of tourists and cheap souvenir shops.<\/p>\n

Aside from calling Nice touristy, it certainly has a lot of charming buildings and monuments in Plaza Garibaldi.<\/p>\n

There were a group of young French girls having lunch in front of Eglise Saint Jean-Baptiste Church.<\/p>\n

Nice is a walking city and parking can be a pain because of the narrow streets.<\/p>\n

Many locals prefer to use the local bike share program or even ride scooters to get around the city faster.<\/p>\n

There are also many museums in Nice and I was able to visit the Mus\u00e9e d’art moderne et d’art contemporain which is the museum of modern and contemporary art.<\/p>\n

I walked by a local French high school called Lycee Massena and was admiring the beautiful architecture.<\/p>\n

Nice also has several casinos if you\u2019re into gambling. I visited the Casino Ruhl and cashed out 26.40 euros.<\/p>\n

Nice is also a shopping haven ranging from high end boutiques like Louis Vuitton to the small stores located in the winding narrow streets.<\/p>\n

The best part about Nice is the beautiful weather and beaches located on Promenade des Anglais.<\/p>\n
