No Points Summary trip report is complete without a food summary. I admit that I love to eat and will do anything to try new local food. On this short trip, I wasn\u2019t able to eat much due to only being in San Antonio for one night.<\/p>\n

My friend picked me up from the airport and we went to her favorite place for breakfast. It\u2019s an authentic Tex Mex hole in the wall restaurant called El Milagrito Caf\u00e9.<\/p>\n

I was floored when I opened the menu since everything was so cheap.<\/p>\n

I had just devoured a meal from the DFW Centurion Lounge<\/a> earlier in the day and wasn\u2019t that hungry, so I ordered two breakfast tacos. They were delicious and go great with the house salsa.<\/p>\n

After getting settled at the Westin Riverwalk hotel<\/a>, we decided to have drinks in Market Square which is located in downtown San Antonio<\/a>. We went to the Mariachi Bar inside Mi Tierra Caf\u00e9 and Bakery which is open 24 hours.<\/p>\n

We started off with shots of vodka and my friend had a margarita to chase it down.<\/p>\n

Afterwards, we headed to La Margarita for happy hour and had some more margaritas.<\/p>\n

There are various street vendors in downtown<\/a> selling snow cones on a hot day.<\/p>\n

During happy hour, we had more drinks at the Doubletree San Antonio hotel.<\/p>\n

There is a farmer\u2019s market in Main Square which is every Tuesday from 10am \u2013 1pm. For lunch, I had a gourmet tamale from one of the vendors.<\/p>\n

I washed it down with some Texas Tea I bought from a nearby grocery store.<\/p>\n

I had a huge Texas shaped waffle topped with strawberries for breakfast at the Westin Riverwalk hotel<\/a>.<\/p>\n
