This was my first time flying the LAX-MEX segment on Aeromexico. Previously, I\u2019ve only flown the return portion of MEX-LAX which I reviewed here<\/a>. I secured a business class upgrade on this flight by simply asking the Aeromexico online chat agent if she could put me on the upgrade list. It never hurts to ask and I had my Skyteam Elite Plus (Delta Gold Medallion) number on my reservation.<\/p>\n

It was an early 7:05am departure flight to Mexico City.<\/p>\n

The 737 business class cabin is a 2-2 configuration which is a recliner seat.<\/p>\n

\"AMlaxtomex2\"<\/a> \"AMlaxtomex3\"<\/a> \"AMlaxtomex5\"<\/a><\/p>\n

My favorite seat is the bulkhead aisle.<\/p>\n

The flight attendant offered me orange juice as a pre-departure beverage.<\/p>\n

After the flight reached cruising altitude, I had another orange juice and a coke with lime.<\/p>\n

Breakfast consisted of French toast with strawberries, fruit, bread, and a muffin. The French toast was delicious.<\/p>\n

It was a short 3 and a half hour flight to Mexico City and I slept after breakfast was served. Service on this flight is no frills (as with most Aeromexico flights). If you need anything, you have to catch their attention or simply ring your call attendant button.<\/p>\n
