I couldn’t get a complimentary upgrade from MEX-SCL using my Skyteam Elite Plus elite status, so I decided to use Optiontown and see what my upgrade options were. I wrote a post about Using Optiontown to Get Cheap Business and First Class Upgrades on Aeromexico<\/a>. I paid $254 for an upgrade from economy class to business class on a Boeing 767-300ER and it was well worth it for a long flight.<\/p>\n

Business Class on the 763 is a 2-2-2 configuration. I wanted direct aisle access so I chose the middle aisle.<\/p>\n

The hard product is a completely lie flat bed with plenty of space and also contains universal power ports.<\/p>\n

\"AMmexscl2\"<\/a> \"AMmexscl5\"<\/a> \"AMmexscl3\"<\/a> \"AMmexscl4\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The amenity kit was handed out after everyone was seated.<\/p>\n

The flight attendant also handed out a bottle of water along with a choice of water, orange juice, or champagne. I chose champagne.<\/p>\n

Before taxiing, the flight attendant handed out in-flight menus. The menu read as follows:<\/p>\n

Dinner<\/p>\n

Appetizer \u2013 Spinach salad served with nuts and raisins. An assortment of bread.<\/p>\n

Main Course \u2013 Breast of chicken Cordon Bleu presented with saut\u00e9ed potatoes and cherry tomato OR Spanish and ricotta cheese ravioli saut\u00e9ed in pomodoro sauce<\/p>\n

Cheese \u2013 A selection of international cheese accompanied by quince paste<\/p>\n

Dessert \u2013 (December) Soft banana crepe topped with cream and almond silvers<\/p>\n

Breakfast<\/p>\n

Appetizer \u2013 Fresh seasonal fruit<\/p>\n

Main Course \u2013 Prosciutto and potato omelette served with mixed vegetables and cherry tomato. An assortment of sweet bread.<\/p>\n

After the plane reached cruising attitude, I ordered a coke.<\/p>\n

The flight attendant passed out a hot wet towel.<\/p>\n

As for dinner, I chose the Breast of chicken Cordon Bleu presented with saut\u00e9ed potatoes and cherry tomato. It was accompanied by a side salad and a selection of international cheese accompanied by quince paste along with bread.<\/p>\n

After dinner, I had the soft banana crepe topped with cream and almond silvers which looked more like a cake and not a crepe.<\/p>\n

I fell asleep after dessert and woke up just in time for breakfast. I had fresh seasonal fruit as an appetizer and it came with bread.<\/p>\n

Breakfast consisted of a prosciutto and potato omelette served with mixed vegetables and cherry tomato.<\/p>\n

The flight was long and I was glad to be able to sleep in a lie flat bed and the service was quick and attentive. The food was decent, but nothing wowed me. I wish there were more choices as far as entrees go. Overall, this is an excellent hard product from Aeromexico since it\u2019s one of their best modern fleets they have.<\/p>\n
