Confirmed for Paris Marathon 2015 through Pre-Registration!

I signed up for the pre-registration on April 8th. When I was reading it, it seemed as if I was entering a contest to get a free entry into the Paris Marathon. Well, it turns out that it was a pre-registration lottery before the official lottery, which kicks off today for the Paris Marathon 2015.

I read the below email half awake, thinking I was denied entry into the Paris Marathon. When I scrolled down and saw the English translation, I got excited that I got in!

I thought about it for a few hours and then decided to enter into the race. I was thinking about which marathon to do for Europe and this answers the question. My wife also has two weeks vacation, which ends that Sunday so we may be in Europe for a few days. I was only planning on being there for the weekend but I’ll see what we do in Europe.
