Alcohol onboard Marathon Tours Antarctic Cruise
I am not sure if this is a common policy on OneOcean cruises, but we were allowed to bring alcohol onboard. Despite this policy, there were many people who still bought alcohol from the bar but during later in the cruise, the bottles of alcohol came out. This was also because it was after the marathon so more people, including me, were drinking.
Bar:
There are many types of alcohol available here, whisky, rum, vodka, beer. Some beers were $4 with others at $5, mixed drinks and wine was about $5 or $6, and other whiskeys and shots are more than that. Our ship also offered Johnny Walker Blue for $12 per glass, which was a great deal, even at a normal bar. We emptied the Johnny Walker Blue on the first night after the marathon. Too bad they didn’t have another.
