Charity Auction

All proceeds go to the Oceanite society that protects wildlife in Antarctica. They auction off various items like signs, mile markers and other signs. Before the race, runners can sponsor a mile marker and they get to keep it after the race without bidding for it. Some of the signs went missing so some of the runners lost out on the sign.

The auction took place upstairs in our large lounge.

Of course, the race banner went for the most amount of money. Below the pictures are the approximate winning bids for each of the items.
