BAH-DO: The Tree of Life Bahrain

I was a participant in FlyerTalk’s BAH-DO this past weekend, and I will be back for the next two weekends as well.  One of the obligatory tourist sights is to drive an hour out of Manama City to see the Tree of Life. The Tree of Life is an almost 400 year old tree in the middle of the desert with no apparent water source. The tree is visited by about 50,000 tourists a year. Here are some pictures:
