Turkish Airlines Announces New Routes

Turkish Airlines has recently announced new routes starting March 31st, 2015.  From Istanbul, Turkish Airlines will offer 7 flights per week to Taipei.  As Turkish broadens to expand across the globe, flights to Asia will increase, as demand continues for routes like this.  Passengers will enjoy a two cabin aircraft, with all the luxuries that Turkish offers on its flights.  This route will be serviced by an A340, and has flights that has pretty good times. See the chart below for more info.

In addition, passengers can enjoy a new route from Istanbul’s Sabiha Cokcen airport to Cologne, Germany. This service commences on April 27th, 2015.  Schedule times are shown below.

Other new routes Turkish Airlines starting are:

IST-BKO (Bamako, Mali)

IST-FKB (Baden Baden, Germany), which starts on June 30th, 2015

And my favorite route, which I hope to experience soon, will be the highly awaited Istanbul-San Francisco route, which will commence on April 13th, 2015.  It will initially start with 5 flights per week, but will increase to 7 flights per week starting May 11th, 2015.  Just in time for the summer travel season and Turkey is an excellent place to be during the summer. It also gives options when redeeming United miles, to get across the pond, and beyond, flying on of the best carriers.

As a Star Alliance carrier, you will be able to use United miles to book these flights, if you can find availability.  Although finding these flights is sometimes hard on United’s website, and you will have better success in using the ANA tool, or the KVS Tool, which I have used before.

Will you be booking any of these flights in the coming months?
