Double Alaska Miles on ALL IcelandAir Flights

Looks like Alaska Airlines is offering some great incentive for trying out their new partner – Icelandair.  Actually, it’s their old (new) partner, as they were partners before.  The Icelandic airline had one of the best frequent flier programs some time ago.  When they were partners with Alaska a few years back, they had an offer to buy SAGA miles on their program, but they were charging it with their currency.  I managed to snag a couple of first class seats to Hawaii for dirt cheap, as you could use those purchased miles for flights on Alaska Airlines.  With Alaska’s latest offer starting October 1st, 2015, you can get double miles for flying Icelandair from Oct – December of this year.  Double Alaska MileagePlan miles are awesome, considering Icelandair has some decent flights out of Seattle and Portland.  I won’t be able to take advantage, but I hope you can.  Icelandair will even let you take up to a 7 day stopover in Iceland, to experience the country.  Here are the details.  Happy Travels.
