{"id":1161,"date":"2014-10-07T16:28:32","date_gmt":"2014-10-07T16:28:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/first2board.com\/thevaluetraveler\/?p=1161"},"modified":"2014-10-07T16:28:32","modified_gmt":"2014-10-07T16:28:32","slug":"olive-garden-bad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/first2board.com\/thevaluetraveler\/2014\/10\/07\/olive-garden-bad\/","title":{"rendered":"Is Olive Garden That Bad??"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>While sipping my morning coffee, I ran into this piece from <a href=\"http:\/\/money.cnn.com\/video\/news\/2014\/09\/30\/olive-garden-food-taste-test-starboard.cnnmoney\/index.html?iid=S_Taboola\" target=\"_blank\">CNN<\/a>, about how bad the food is at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.olivegarden.com\/menu-listing\/dinner\" target=\"_blank\">Olive Garden<\/a>.\u00a0 As you may, or may not know, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.darden.com\/restaurants\/\" target=\"_blank\">Darden<\/a> Restaurant Group is the owner of Olive Garden, and lately, they have come under fire for spiraling downward profits.\u00a0 I&#8217;m guessing because the food sucks? The service is mediocre, and some of the restaurants haven&#8217;t changed their appearance since they were put up. This is so true, because the one near my house still has that early 90&#8217;s look.\u00a0 Now,I am personally not an expert on Italian food by any means. I went to Italy sometime ago, and sampled various dishes during my travels there, and if it tasted great to me, it was a winner. However, check out these two Italian-Americans as they sample various Olive Garden dishes and give their input on it. One would assume they know what they are talking about it, I suppose. It&#8217;s actually pretty hilarious!\u00a0 Do you guys like Olive Garden?
