{"id":930,"date":"2014-05-27T11:14:00","date_gmt":"2014-05-27T18:14:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thevaluetraveler.com\/?p=930"},"modified":"2014-09-03T01:29:56","modified_gmt":"2014-09-03T01:29:56","slug":"trip-report-air-france-flight-83-sfo-cdg-business-class","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/first2board.com\/thevaluetraveler\/2014\/05\/27\/trip-report-air-france-flight-83-sfo-cdg-business-class\/","title":{"rendered":"Trip Report: Air France Flight 83: SFO-CDG Business Class"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A friend of mine recently pinged me on helping her get to Venice and Croatia, but also to experience Air France&#8217;s A380 Business Class, using Alaska\u00a0 miles, and of course, I couldn\u2019t resist.\u00a0 It was kinda tough to put this itinerary together and it involved checking Alaska\u2019s website almost numerous times a day to find availability.\u00a0 However, at the end, we managed to find her something suitable, that was doable and she loved the experience.\u00a0 Her routing was as follows: <strong>SLC-SFO-CDG <\/strong>on Air France, flying in an A380.\u00a0 Total redeemed miles were <strong>125,000<\/strong> , and $120 in taxes.\u00a0 Not a bad way to get to Venice via Paris, and comfortably.\u00a0 She accumulated the miles from spending on her <a title=\"How to Get 25,000 Alaska Airlines Miles + $25.00 FREE\" href=\"http:\/\/thevaluetraveler.com\/how-to-get-25000-alaska-airlines-miles-25-00-free\/\">Alaska Airlines Signature Visa card<\/a>, which is one of my favorite cards.
