For those of you that are Hilton HHonors members, you should know to keep an eye on your inbox and Hilton.com for announcements of their promotions. Hilton recently launched the Hilton Ultimate Weekender Sweepstakes, offering Hilton Hhonor members the chance to win a weekend trip every week throughout the year. You can sign up to be a Hilton HHonors member if you are not already and enter the sweepstakes here.
As you likely know, people are taking shorter vacations in lieu of longer vacations (in fact, 72% of Americans prefer a short trip) and with only 52 weekends in a year, Hilton launched the Hilton Ultimate Weekender Sweepstakes to help people take advantage of those precious 48 hours.
Every Monday, a new giveaway destination will be revealed. Hilton’s website seems be encouraging travelers to plan getaways such as a girls getaway or family trip to destinations including New York, San Diego, Orlando and Hawaii.

Members are invited to enter once a day Monday through Friday to win that week’s getaway. You can also like Hilton on Facebook to get each week’s secret word for another entry. This week, Hilton is giving away the Ultimate Beach Weekend!
The weekly prize includes two free night certificates at any hotel or resort within the Hilton Worldwide portfolio, two 50,000 American Airlines AAdvantage® mileage certificates, a $100 Hilton HHonors gift card; and a check for $800. All entries from the year will go into a draw to select a grand prize winner. Any stays by a member in 2014 will also count as entries toward the grand prize of 12 weekend getaways. The grand prize is a whopping twenty-four free night certificates at any hotel and resort within the Hilton Worldwide portfolio, twenty-four certificates for 50,000 American Airlines AAdvantage® miles each, twelve $100 Hilton HHonors gift cards, and a check for $10,000.
