Top Three Carry-on Essentials

If you’re traveling this summer you should think about what you’re packing in your carry-on.  If you’re taking a long flight, red-eye or international trip, you might want to consider these carry-on essentials.

I don’t leave home without these carry-on essentials and I even buy them as gifts for my friends!

If you’ve flown long enough you know your lips dry out from the recycled air on the planes.  The best lip-gloss I’ve ever found, and I’ve tried a lot, is from Malin & Goetz. If you fly Delta international business class you’ve probably discovered this as well, and hopefully fallen in love with it (if you haven’t, please feel free to send me the lip-gloss from your kits!) Best part, there’s no scent or flavor!

2. A refreshing wipe. Ole Henriksen The Clean Truth Cleansing wipes are a must have in your carry-on essentials. The wipes come in a thin container that is resealable and have a very light scent that isn’t bothersome (and I don’t like scented things.)  The wipe is a must have when you’re on a long flight and want to refresh.  Throw them in your purse or backpack for a quick cool-down when you’re out and about in a hot city.

3. Moisturize. A tube of Philosophy Hands of Hope is an absolute in the list of carry-on essentials. I have Hands of Hope in just about every room of my house, backpack, purse, etc… I first discovered this hand moiScreen Shot 2015-05-30 at 11.17.26 PMsturizer on a United Airlines flight from Chicago to Beijing. I instantly fell in love for two reasons. First, there is absolutely no scent at all (something that’s hard to find in airline amenity kits) and second, it isn’t greasy and lasts on your hands even after a wash or two.

I don’t travel without these items anymore and I’ve been using them now for years. What   are your top carry-on essentials?
