Time To Move Forward

A while back I announced that VeryGoodPoints, the blog I started in 2011, would become Explorations.Guru.  Well, the time has come for me to make that move.  Why?  VeryGoodPoints was a name that didn’t really fit my posts.  The name was confusing to many. Explorations.Guru really describes what I’m doing, and writing about, exploring the world.

On Twitter I’m staying the same @XplorationsGuru and on Facebook you can find my page at ExplorationsGuru.  As if that’s not enough, I’m on Instagram, sometimes, and there I’m Explorations.Guru.

What you’ll find on the new site is a lot about travel, food and philanthropy.  I’ll continue to write my “48 Hours In:” posts – which will help you plan a trip if you only have 48 hours to explore. I’ll write about Thailand, a lot, because if I’m not here, I’m there (and my heart certainly is.)  I’ll continue to share fun facts and tidbits I pick up along the way. And, don’t worry, I’ll still share all my experiences with Starwood and a few other hotels along the way.

So, to quote Ansel Adams, “In wisdom gathered over time, I have found that every experience is a form of exploration.”  And that’s what I’m doing, exploring the world, culture and sharing the experience.
