Big Changes At 4 Hilton London Hotels

Practically the only thing I hate about London is the price of Starwood hotels! When I’m in London I usually stay at Hilton brands because I can usually find deals around $150-$180 USD a/night.  Tonight as I was searching for a London hotel I came across some surprises! I’ve always wanted to try the Bentley but that may not be in the cards now.

There are some big changes coming on the next 3 months:

Hotels Leaving the Brand:

As of September 30, 2013, The Bentley London will cease to operate as a Hilton hotel.

As of September 30, 2013, Courthouse DoubleTree by Hilton London Regent Street will cease to operate as a DoubleTree by Hilton hotel

Hotel Joining The Brand:

The London Hyde Park Hotel will be joining the DoubleTree by Hilton brand in July 2013

Executive Lounge Closing Down:

Double Tree By Hilton West End London – Please note that from 22nd July 2013, our Executive Lounge will no longer be available.

  1. Lost track now of how many names The Bentley has traded under in recent years!

Very nice hotel, but arguably too small to run efficiently and in an odd location (albeit in an expensive part of town).

As an aside, went there once for dinner and for some reason they thought it was my wifes birthday. Brought out a cake and everything. It wasn’t. We kept the cake.

  2. So you can’t stay there any more since it lost its branding? Especially if the price is still in your budget? Seems a strange budget decision to make.

  3. @Wandering Aramean – we all know you don’t care about hotel status, but some people still do.
