With such demand for frequent traveler education, the folks at F2B thought, we have to get in on the action! But if we’re doing a DO or a U, then it’s going to be big! Introducing Fiji14 the next great frequent traveler conference.
I love Fiji. The first time I went was in Winter 2011. It was a great experience. This won’t be a charitable event, you’ll have to pay for everything yourself. We won’t be paying for anything at all or donating anything at all. At least we’re being honest about that part.
We’ll plan speakers, but they’re not going to talk about anything other than snorkeling, scuba and suntanning 101. We won’t teach you how to earn miles, but we’ll help you burn them on your hotel and travel to Fiji! So make sure you attend one of the other popular US conferences and seminars so you’re prepared to earn enough points so you can participate in Fiji14.
We’ll stay at the Westin Fiji, because I’m in charge and I love Starwood. It was just renovated in 2011/12, so it should be in good shape. Plus, you get free access to all the Sheraton Fiji amenities down the road.
Okay, you got us, there’s no Fiji14 DO or U. However, it does sound like it would be a lot of fun, doesn’t it! Who’s in?

As long as it doesn’t conflict with my World Cup trip to Brazil, I’ll start looking for award seats. When are we going? I already have my SCUBA licence, I can snorkel with the best of them, and I believe I am one sunny beach day away from suntanning 201.

I stayed at that Westin back when it was still a Sheraton- wow, I really just dated myself. If this is for real, count me in. Fiji has been back on the list since I found out its only 25/40k for an intra-pacific star saver award.
Bula ! So far have nothing booked for 2014. Would love to return to Fiji. We loved Fiji. Loved the IC and loved the Sheraton. Had a horrible experience at the Westin, however. Pretty bad. Holiday Inn Suva is also worth a stop.
