Share Stories And Earn Miles

Did you know that there is a Barclaycard Arrival Travel Community where cardholders and non-cardholders can earn bonus miles for sharing their travel stories and photos?   Both cardholders and non-cardholders can earn Amazon e-certificates with the miles they earn. Once you reach the 2,500 mile threshold you will be sent a $5 Amazon e-certificate. If you like to share, that could add up! If you are a cardmember, once you link your Barclaycard Arrival account to your Travel Community profile, any miles you earn will be transferred to your Barclaycard Arrival account each month.

BarclayCard Travel Community members can earn miles in three different ways:

  • Creating a profile will earn 500 miles. You’ll earn the points once your profile is considered complete – you have filled out the following items: your city and state,  your travel interests, style and travel companion style, and at least 5 cities/states/countries you’ve visited.
  • Posting a travel story earns you 150 miles +.  Travel stories have to be at least 50 words (which is easy) and include at least 1 photo. You can also earn 10 miles per detail you post in the story. Details might include info about restaurants, sight-seeing locations, etc…
  • Receive a kudos and earn 10 miles! Every time someone says “kudos” to a story you’ve posted, you will earn 10 miles.

If you’re a Barclaycard Arrival cardholder, be sure to link your Barclaycard so that miles go directly to your card account.  To link your Barclaycard, log into the community, click on “My Stories,” and the link will appear under your lifetime community miles total.
