Why do I own a car? A question I ask myself at least a few times a year \u2013 when I get the car serviced, when I get gas, etc\u2026 Now I’m asking because it’s my car’s birthday! As a road warrior who spends \u00be of the year out of the country, AAA spends more time restarting my car battery than I spend driving it (I’m not kidding!)<\/p>\n

I bought my car in September of 2005 and it was brand new at the time \u2013 according to the paper work, it had 7 miles on the odometer when I purchased it. This month, my car turned 7 years old \u2013 can you guess how many miles the odometer shows today? To win, all you have to do is guess the number of miles my car shows today. The person with the guess closest to the actual # of miles as of Sept 1, 2012 wins a year of Executive Status with National Car Rental \u2013 my favorite car rental company.<\/p>\n
