You should all know the classic poem, If I Were In Charge of the World by Judith Viorst. We read it as kids, a lot…and dreamed about being in charge. Ive written my own verse called If I were Doug Parker in Charge of New AA World. Enjoy….<\/p>\n

If I were Doug Parker in Charge of the New AA world<\/p>\n

I’d cancel US Air catering ASAP and call Guy Fieri!<\/p>\n

I’d ban 5 am Monday Morning flights<\/p>\n

There’d be brighter nights lights, that wouldn’t look like the flight attendant light.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

You would have bedtimes on overnight flight (shhhh!)<\/p>\n

The no smoking sign would be replaced with a sign,<\/p>\n

Don’t kick the seat back one more time!<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If I were Doug Parker<\/p>\n

You wouldn’t have chatty seat mates<\/p>\n

Everyone would sit up straight<\/p>\n

Luggage travels free<\/p>\n

Babies? Sorry, there’s a fee<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If I were Doug Parker<\/p>\n

The safety video would feature JayZ<\/p>\n

Chocolate chip cookies would be free<\/p>\n

And no one would dare show “Flight” in air<\/p>\n

And a person who sometimes forgot to brush,<\/p>\n

And sometimes forgot to flush,<\/p>\n

Wouldn’t be allowed in the cabin<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If I were Doug Parker<\/p>\n

Flight Attendants would be perfume free<\/p>\n

And hand out deodorant when need be<\/p>\n

The planes would be fresh and new<\/p>\n

And you’d never have to worry about a late crew.<\/p>\n

If I were Doug Parker in charge of the New AA World<\/p>\n

I’d listen to frequent flyers.<\/p>\n

I’d let AA run the social media team<\/p>\n

I’d keep the best of both programs and put the competition to rest!<\/p>\n
