There are different styles of dumplings and one style is called the Bejing-style dumpling. We were taken to the\u00a0Queen Street Cooked Food Market where you won&#8217;t find an English menu but you will find stall after stall serving amazing local cuisine. \u00a0I loved the pumpkin dumplings and potato and chive dumplings. Greyhound Cafe is a Thai restaurant that started in Bangkok. \u00a0They serve absolutely \u00a0traditional Thai food with a modern flare. \u00a0A friend and I enjoyed the Pad Thai and\u00a0Minced Chicken with Sweet Basil, Hot Chilies and Rice. The minced chicken was amazing and in fact, I&#8217;ve ordered it now several times at the original Greyhound Cafe in Bangkok.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2839\" alt=\"minched chicken\" src=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/verygoodpoints\/files\/2013\/03\/minched-chicken-225x300.jpg\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/verygoodpoints\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/\/sites\/2\/2013\/03\/minched-chicken-225x300.jpg 225w, http:\/\/first2board.com\/verygoodpoints\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/\/sites\/2\/2013\/03\/minched-chicken-255x341.jpg 255w, http:\/\/first2board.com\/verygoodpoints\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/\/sites\/2\/2013\/03\/minched-chicken.jpg 675w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A taste of Vientnam at Nha Trang &#8211;\u00a0Another great meal, and perhaps one of my single favorite dishes in Hong Kong, came from a Vietnamese restaurant called\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/verygoodpoints\/hong-kong-trip-report\/www.nhatrang.com.hk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Nha Trang<\/a>\u00a0. \u00a0No matter what time of day you go to the original location of Nha Trang, you should expect to stand in line. \u00a0It\u2019s well worth the wait. \u00a0My favorite dish was the La Dua Bo Nuong \u2013 grilled beef marinated in pineapple and lemongrass and wrapped in Pandan Leaves. \u00a0The flavor was absolutely amazing and the dish was worth having multiple times (which I did.)<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2846\" alt=\"pandan leaves\" src=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/verygoodpoints\/files\/2013\/03\/pandan-leaves-300x191.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"191\" srcset=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/verygoodpoints\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/\/sites\/2\/2013\/03\/pandan-leaves-300x191.jpg 300w, http:\/\/first2board.com\/verygoodpoints\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/\/sites\/2\/2013\/03\/pandan-leaves.jpg 301w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-2854\" alt=\"nhatrang\" src=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/verygoodpoints\/files\/2013\/03\/nhatrang-300x224.jpg\" width=\"270\" height=\"202\" srcset=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/verygoodpoints\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/\/sites\/2\/2013\/03\/nhatrang-300x224.jpg 300w, http:\/\/first2board.com\/verygoodpoints\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/\/sites\/2\/2013\/03\/nhatrang-455x341.jpg 455w, http:\/\/first2board.com\/verygoodpoints\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/\/sites\/2\/2013\/03\/nhatrang.jpg 550w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 270px) 100vw, 270px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I suspect I could go on and on about the great food, but there are other things to do in the harbour city. \u00a0A great way to explore Hong Kong is on one of the city tours. I always try to take a tour on an open-top Double-Decker\u00a0hop-on hop-off bus. \u00a0The tour in Hong Kong was great because it went to all the major attractions, was good for two days and\u00a0included\u00a0a ferry ride.<\/p>\n<p>Top three things you shouldn&#8217;t miss:<\/p>\n<p>1. Victoria Peak &#8211; the most spectacular views day or night (I went twice) and it&#8217;s worth the trip on a clear day.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone  wp-image-2834\" alt=\"HK foodie header copy\" src=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/verygoodpoints\/files\/2013\/03\/HK-foodie-header-copy-300x300.jpg\" width=\"240\" height=\"240\" srcset=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/verygoodpoints\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/\/sites\/2\/2013\/03\/HK-foodie-header-copy-300x300.jpg 300w, http:\/\/first2board.com\/verygoodpoints\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/\/sites\/2\/2013\/03\/HK-foodie-header-copy-150x150.jpg 150w, http:\/\/first2board.com\/verygoodpoints\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/\/sites\/2\/2013\/03\/HK-foodie-header-copy.jpg 341w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 240px) 100vw, 240px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>2. A Junk Boat Tour- make sure you take an iconic Junk Boat tour of the Harbour, it&#8217;s a great way to see the city from the bay.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2837\" alt=\"junk boat\" src=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/verygoodpoints\/files\/2013\/03\/junk-boat-300x199.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" \/><\/p>\n<p>3. The Tian Tan Buddha on Lantau island &#8211; it is 34 metres high, making it the world&#8217;s largest outdoor seated bronze Buddha.
