The most underrated restaurant in Charleston has to be Eurasia<\/a>. I have been a few times now, and each time I bring new friends. I\u2019m constantly amazed at the creative and fresh specials being offered and never disappointed by the standing menu.<\/p>\n

As I mentioned in my first review<\/a>, Executive Chef Meredith Adams brings her Asian inspired farm fresh food to Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. I love the atmosphere and d\u00e9cor in Eurasia. The bar is welcoming and well-stocked. The dining room offers a variety of seating \u2013 high-tops to tables \u2013 and the service is exceptional. Now on my forth visit, I have yet to have a single complaint about service.<\/p>\n

The food is extraordinary and will give any of Charleston\u2019s trendy down-town eateries a run for their money. On this visit, my table shared the Asian Meatballs with a sweet soy-mustard glaze. They had a bit of a kick, but were delicious. The Bigeye Tuna \u201cTar-Tini\u201d \u2013 seared sashimi with a spicy aioli on tartare with mango and cucumber thai ginger rice salad. The presentation was beautiful (pictured below) and the dish was incredible. The cucumber thai ginger rice salad was great.<\/p>\n

We also shared the beef tenderloin carpaccio with truffled egg salad, baby arugula and balsamic mustard vinaigrette. The carpaccio was great, but the truffled egg salad was what got my attention. The server actually suggested that on our next trip we get the burger with a side of truffled egg salad. Sounds divine!<\/p>\n

For my main course, I had the salmon special. It came with truffle mashed potatoes \u2013which were awesome and served with julienned vegetables. I love the salmon at Eurasia. The chef cooks and seasons it perfectly. The food was prepared artfully and enjoyed by everyone. One of the more interesting sides \u2013 which everyone had to taste \u2013 was the Blue Crab \u201cMac & Cheese\u201d. It was excellent \u2013 not a typical kids mac & cheese \u2013 this one is made for grown-ups. The addition of the blue crab is brilliant. A definite must try!<\/p>\n

If you have room for dessert \u2013 and trust me, you\u2019ll want to save room \u2013 you can\u2019t go wrong with any selection. We shared the pumpkin cheesecake and flourless chocolate torte. The cheesecake tasted just like fall. It was amazing and worth ordering again. The flourless chocolate torte was traditional and satisfying, however, I wasn\u2019t a huge fan of the organe creamsicle flavored gelato that accompanied it- next time, I\u2019d just leave that off.<\/p>\n

If you haven\u2019t been there, you must make a trip to Eurasia. I\u2019m hooked.<\/p>\n
