You thought the ban of alcohol on certain flights was bad? Well today there’s news via Reuters\u00a0that Turkish has banned their female flight attendants from wearing red lipstick or nail polish.<\/p>\n
Turkish Airlines told Reuters the move was about \u201cimproved communication with passengers.” \u00a0Hmmm…I guess it’s hard to understand someone with red lips?<\/p>\n
I flew Turkish last year and really enjoyed the flight. \u00a0Their business class was nice for a short-haul flight and the crew was very friendly, though I’d heard the opposite from some fellow travelers.<\/p>\n
As the National Airline of Turkey, I suppose they can enforce any rules they want upon their staff, but I think it’s a bit extreme. \u00a0I wonder if pink is okay?<\/p>\n
