American Airlines today announces the launch of a new codeshare agreement with\u00a0Bogota-based LAN Colombia, adding new service to key destinations in\u00a0Colombia\u00a0and further strengthening American’s relationship with LATAM Airlines Group. Customers can begin booking travel on the codeshare flights\u00a0Aug. 1\u00a0for travel beginning\u00a0Aug. 8<\/p>\n
The new codeshare agreement will give American’s customers seamless connecting service withinColombia\u00a0and provide LAN Colombia’s customers access to new destinations in\u00a0the United States. The two airlines will codeshare on flights between the U.S. and\u00a0Colombia\u00a0and provide American’s customers access to four new destinations in\u00a0Colombia\u00a0\u2013 Barranquilla, Bucaramanga, Cartagena and Pereira, while giving LAN Colombia’s customers access to 12 new cities in the U.S. from\u00a0Miami, including\u00a0Chicago,Dallas\/Fort Worth,\u00a0Los Angeles\u00a0and\u00a0New York.<\/p>\n
