{"id":5542,"date":"2013-11-07T15:04:01","date_gmt":"2013-11-07T20:04:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/first2board.com\/verygoodpoints\/?p=5542"},"modified":"2013-11-07T15:04:01","modified_gmt":"2013-11-07T20:04:01","slug":"us-airways-allows-use-personal-electronic-devices-flights","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/first2board.com\/verygoodpoints\/2013\/11\/07\/us-airways-allows-use-personal-electronic-devices-flights\/","title":{"rendered":"US Airways Allows Use of Personal Electronic Devices On Most Flights"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>US Airways jumped on the bandwagon today announcing that they too now allow the use of small personal electronic devices. \u00a0The announcement, however, comes with a few small caveats.<\/p>\n<p>A few things to note about this new change:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Smaller devices can be used on flights within the 50 United States<\/li>\n<li>Larger devices, like full-size laptops, must be turned off and stowed during taxi, takeoff and landing<\/li>\n<li>Headsets should be used for any audible portable device<\/li>\n<li>This update only pertains to mainline flights, but we\u2019re working to implement this policy on our Express carriers as soon as possible<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Flight&#8217;s operated by Republic, Mesa and US Airways other express carriers aren&#8217;t included in this initial roll out.
