<\/p>\nAre there destinations you dream about? \u00a0Places or things that you long to see? \u00a0I have been extremely lucky that I’ve been able to cross a lot of those places off of my list, but there are still plenty of places to see.<\/p>\n
In 2013 I crossed some big items off my list. \u00a0I went to Alaska in November to see the Northern Lights and actually, that trip left me wanting to see them again. \u00a0I went to all of the major Hawaiian Islands and went whale watching.<\/p>\n

For many years, Thailand was on my list of “destinations you dream about” and I’ve had ample opportunity over the last 4 years to explore all of Thailand.<\/p>\n

In 2012, I visited Angkor Wat in Cambodia and that was a big item on my\u00a0destinations you dream about list! \u00a0Angkor Wat is amazing and something that you should see if you’re in that region. \u00a0 I also spent some time in Vietnam, Singapore and Malaysia though they weren’t on my dream list I was glad to see them.<\/p>\n

Australia was on my destinations you dream about list but after visiting, I wasn’t sure what all the hype is about. Sure, it’s laid back and there is some spectacular scenery and places to visit, but overall I felt like there are other places I’d rather see. \u00a0 I didn’t make it to New Zealand, but I hope to this year.<\/p>\n

Fiji was on my list and I made it there in 2011. Fiji is stunning and the people are what makes the island unique. \u00a0I would return to Fiji, that’s how much I enjoyed my time there. \u00a0There are so many other islands to explore and things to see, a week there was too short. \u00a0I was there at Christmas and it was a great experience to see how another culture celebrates. \u00a0The Fijians held a luau like the ones I saw in Hawaii this year.<\/p>\n

In Europe, I’ve seen the majority of the places on my list, but there are still a few places I need to checkoff the list. \u00a0I love London and have been several times of the last few years. \u00a0Belgium and The Netherlands were on the list and I got to see both in 2013. \u00a0If you have’t seen the tulips in The Netherlands, you need to add that to your list. \u00a0It’s amazing.<\/p>\n
Two places that are still on my\u00a0destinations you dream about list are Africa (the southern parts of the continent) and Iceland, I’d like to see the Northern Lights there! \u00a0I was trying to get to South Africa in 2014, but it looks like that trip will be in Spring of 2015, so that leaves 2014 open for Iceland or some other great destinations.<\/p>\n
