Taking the Metro to Mexico City Airport, Terminal 2

if the following apply to you, you may want to consider taking the subway to the airport instead of a taxi. note that it’s much easier walk from Terminal 1 (i believe the subway pretty much stops there via the Terminal Aérea station).

Terminal 2, serving Aeromexico, LAN, Delta, and Copa, among others, is closest to the Pantitlán station. I should say “close” in quotes, though, as it’s a bit of a trek. Pantitlán is a major transfer station so lots of lines end there — 1, 5, 9, and A. if you need to transfer to one of those lines, you may not hear station announcements, so pay attention.

as you exit the station, take any exit that doesn’t lead you to the bus station (you’ll see lots of signs for buses). the map above shows the way i went; there may be better routes. keep right when you exit and continue along the main road (you may pass through a sidewalk market at the station) until you hit an intersection where, if you look right, you see T2 in the distance. there is a pedestrian path to the right of the main road. if you don’t have a data plan, be sure to save an offline Google Map (Android, iPhone) of Mexico City to help you find your way!
