{"id":3914,"date":"2013-10-23T16:11:04","date_gmt":"2013-10-23T23:11:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jett.in\/?p=3914"},"modified":"2013-11-05T03:36:03","modified_gmt":"2013-11-05T03:36:03","slug":"commercial-got-right","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/first2board.com\/wanderlusty\/2013\/10\/commercial-got-right\/","title":{"rendered":"The Commercial That Got It Right"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>disclaimer: i have a mastercard but don&#8217;t use it.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>those &#8220;Priceless&#8221; ads from mastercard have been around for a decade and a half, but this one called <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=LiJH9J7q7HE&amp;feature=c4-overview-vl&amp;list=PLCF6BB548534916F2\">Foodie<\/a> is the first one i remember as really hitting it on the head. if you haven&#8217;t seen it, it&#8217;s about travelers enjoying food around the globe thanks to the wonders of modern financial networks. i first saw it several months ago but for some reason i thought about it earlier today and how lucky i have been to have experienced the situations shown in the ad, from the good to the bad. and as i often say, <strong>no, i&#8217;m not a foodie; i just like to eat<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>clueless<\/h3>\n<p>ok, this first one is a bit of a stretch since i usually read up on local cuisine dos and don&#8217;ts, but this reminded me of the time i went for a traditional Japanese tofu meal\u00a0and was so clueless i had to watch and see what everyone else did with their food.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3918\" alt=\"no\" src=\"http:\/\/jett.in\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/10\/no.gif\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" \/><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" width=\"500\">\n<p>Omg I have no idea what I&#39;m doing. <a href=\"http:\/\/t.co\/gZ6HIKyu\">pic.twitter.com\/gZ6HIKyu<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Jonathan Khoo (@jonk) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jonk\/statuses\/140252862918823937\">November 26, 2011<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" width=\"500\">\n<p>The lady made eating motions.
