streaming entertainment! the thing about it that is different from what i&#8217;m used to on United is that <\/p>\n<p>a) while the content does come over wifi, the plane did <strong>NOT<\/strong> have internet. just wifi for content distribution, that&#8217;s all. no FlyNet internet service.<\/p>\n<p>b) you need a separate application for your device (if it&#8217;s not a laptop) &#8212; the Lufthansa app that you use to check in, etc., won&#8217;t cut it.<\/p>\n<p>anyways, just a warning to download the <strong>separate<\/strong> Lufthansa Entertainment app to your Android or iOS device before you fly. again, it&#8217;s not part of the main Lufthansa app, so you&#8217;re out of luck if that&#8217;s all you have (as was my case). you can also just use a laptop that has the Silverlight plugin, but i didn&#8217;t know that until i did the research for this post. *sad panda*<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/wanderlusty\/files\/2015\/08\/IMG_7022.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/wanderlusty\/files\/2015\/08\/IMG_7022.png\" alt=\"IMG_7022\" width=\"750\" height=\"1334\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7142\" srcset=\"http:\/\/first2board.com\/wanderlusty\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/48\/\/sites\/48\/2015\/08\/IMG_7022.png 750w, http:\/\/first2board.com\/wanderlusty\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/48\/\/sites\/48\/2015\/08\/IMG_7022-169x300.png 169w, http:\/\/first2board.com\/wanderlusty\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/48\/\/sites\/48\/2015\/08\/IMG_7022-576x1024.png 576w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>note that this entertainment option is only available on a select few A321 planes<\/strong>, as <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AirlineFlyer\/status\/633598502241742848\">per the ever-knowing @AirlineFlyer<\/a> &#8212; if you check your flight status before departure on the Lufthansa app, it should notify you, says <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lufthansa.com\/us\/en\/Lufthansa-In-flight-entertainment-by-app\">their information page<\/a> about this service.<\/p>\n<p>that said, it&#8217;s not completely hopeless if you just have a simple browser &#8212;
