Were you targeted for the Hyatt Fall Bonus Promotion?
I received the email for this promotion yesterday and did not initially realize that it appears to be targeted. Personally, I’m quite thrilled to be included in any ‘targeted’ group since I manage to not be targeted for so many other promotions (Double EQM’s where are you?).
Between September 1 through November 30, 2014 members can earn up to 50,000 bonus points by completing 20 nights. It’s pretty straightforward and simple – the more you stay, the more you earn. The tiered bonuses are as follows:
- Stay 5 nights, earn 5,000 points
- Stay 10 nights, earn 10,000 points = 15,000 points total
- Stay 15 nights, earn 15,000 points = 30,000 points total
- Stay 20 nights, earn 20,000 points = 50,000 points total
You will earn bonus points after every five night incremental stay. As you can see, participating in this promotion will give you between 1,000 and 2,500 bonus Gold Passport points per eligible night. Eligible nights include revenue bookings and Points and Cash bookings, but not award night redemptions nor MLife stays.
If you would like to check to see if you qualify for this promotion one link for the Hyatt Promotion is here. Interestingly, this is the same promotion which ran in the fall of 2013 which was open to all members of Hyatt Gold Passport. Live From a Lounge reports that other targeted offers are being rolled out and emails are still being sent, so don’t despair… maybe you will be one of the lucky ones to receive an even better offer.
Luckily I have a few Hyatt nights lined up in coming months, but, as I don’t travel for business I don’t foresee earning more than an extra 5000 bonus points. Sadly four of my other nights will be in August, prior to the beginning of the promotion.
How do you plan to maximize this promotion?
