One Mile at a Time posted about a very targeted offer where you would be able to use your Membership Reward Points from Amex for United or AA flights. If you wanted to see if you were targeted, you must have your card in hand when calling. Apparently these were only offered to about 30k members so you would be pretty lucky to get targeted. Hopefully they roll this out in the future as it would be a great opportunity.
Dr. of Credit shares that Credit Karma, a free site to access your Transunion Score, is rolling out a beta program where you would be able to access your Equifax score for free. I found the Facebook link to work the best. It is important to check your credit regularly and this site doesn’t require any credit card info but it does require a SSN and for you to verify your identity so it knows that it is really you.
Heels First posted that you can access certain National Parks today for free. Happy MLK Day everyone!
Deals We Like shares that the US Airways credit card will no longer charge foreign transaction fees. This is good news for those that use this card often and would like to take it with them internationally. I would much rather use my Barclays Arrival card though.
If you are flying Alaska Airlines out of Seattle today, the first drink is on them!
If your new years resolution was to save or earn more money, check out Dr. of Credits list of Bank promotions where you open a bank account and complete certain tasks for free money. Why not let your money work for you!
