Admirals Club Atlanta –
I recently traveled on a complicated itinerary / Mileage Run Vacation to Seoul South Korea. I will be writing about my experience over the following posts:
Seoul Trip Report – American Admirals Club – Atlanta
Before my flight to Miami, I made a quick visit to the Admirals club which is located across from the American Gates in the T terminal in Atlanta.
The lounge had a decorative entrance and the signage was clean and in good condition.
As I approached the desk, the agent was on the phone and she asked me to wait for a moment. She completed the call and she checked me into the lounge and wished me a pleasant stay.
The lounge has one main room with tables and chairs as well as a separate bar area. There is also a small buffet setup in the main room. The lounge offers restrooms and another small room with desks for the use of a computer. The bar area was staffed and it was setup neatly and had a television tuned to sports programming. The bar also had a self service coffee and soda area.
The lounge was about half full when I arrived. I quickly found a table and took a seat for a few minutes before checking out the buffet area.
The food offerings were a Corn Chowder, cheese, crackers, tomatoes, celery and carrots. In addition, cookies and brownies were available along with three nut snack mixes.
I utilized the room with the computer desks to do some writing for the blog. The desk was clean and it had power outlets available and a comfortable chair. The Internet functioned and there was a good connection.
I had a bowl of soup and some cheese, tomatoes and celery from the buffet. The soup was served hot. It was rich and creamy and it had a good roasted corn flavor. The cheese was fresh and it had a good flavor. The tomatoes and celery were also fresh and of good quality.
Shortly before my flight, I departed the lounge. The agent thanked me as I was departing.
Overall I thought the lounge was good. The computer desk area was excellent as it was quiet and I was able to spend time getting some work done. The agents were friendly and I felt welcome.
