Travel Conference Minneapolis
This week I am attending a travel conference in Minneapolis called TBEX – the Future of Travel Media.
WHAT IS TBEX?
TBEX is a three-day travel conference and networking event that is held in various locations throughout the world.
The conference brings together travel bloggers from all over the world to network and to learn about opportunities to partner with others to enhance their blog. In addition, the conference allows for bloggers and travel providers to come together.
Fortunately for me this year’s conference for North America is held in Minneapolis, my hometown. So I only had a short drive in order to attend. The event is being held at the Mall of America.
Upcoming TBEX conferences will be held in Sweden in July, 2016 and Manilla in October, 2016.
ACTIVITIES INCLUDED AS PART OF THE CONFERENCE
As part of the conference there are numerous activities for sightseeing as well as social events in various parts of the city. Some of the activities include a tour of a historical building that currently features up and coming restaurants and an ethnic market; a tour of a brew pub and distillery; as well as a ride in a historic paddle boat on the Mississippi River.
I am excited to have the opportunity to connect with fellow bloggers and tourist companies from around the world. I am hoping to make connections with other bloggers where we might be able to partner for upcoming projects. In addition, I am excited to learn about new trends in the blogging industry. I am excited to have the opportunity to share these with everyone.
I will write about the meeting experience over several posts:
- Travel Conference in Minneapolis
- Midtown Global Market – A culinary adventure
- Crawfish Boil at Bent Brewstillery
- Travel Conference
- Harriott Island Regional Park and Paddle boats
I am excited to share my experiences with you. Are you attending TBEX? Or have you attended in the past? What are your thoughts on the conference?
