American and Alaska Airlines Gut Their Partnership Effective January 1, 2018 – This is unfortunate news. Alaska is one of the best programs because they partner with everyone. This news comes after Alaska cut it’s ties with Delta earlier this year.

Delta operations just ROCKS in Detroit DTW! This is why I fly Delta Air Lines – You? – This writer lucked out with his connecting Delta flight arriving next to his mainline flight. Normally this does not happen for the regional jets. I see this happen sometimes at Minneapolis as well. Most depart from A, B or C gates. Every once in a while you see a regional parked in one of the main gates in G or F.
