There is a hidden exclusive feature on the American Airlines app for Executive Platinum members only. The feature is to provide instant feedback via Twitter within the American Airlines phone app.
To access this, open the American Airlines app and go to Tools –> Twitter Feedback.
Once you have opened “Twitter Feedback”, you will then be asked to link your Twitter account by entering your username and password (create an account if you don’t have one).
Once you have linked your account, your page will look something like this:
American Airlines basically wants hear how your trip is going. You can highlight exceptional service, get assistance or share how we can improve.
I really like this because you don’t have to fill out a long web form on aa.com to compliment a flight attendant. I can do this instantly via the in-house American Airlines app and receive instant feedback. It’s very simple to use and I provide an example of employee recognition below:
Now this isn’t a mind-blowing Executive Platinum perk, but it shows how American Airlines cares about their top tier customers and provides exclusive features and benefits for them.
