If you’re taking a walk in Downtown Curitiba, you’ll likely encounter one of the major streets called Rua das Flores or Flower Street. Rua das Flores is also known as Rua XV de Novembro (15th of November Street) which is lined up with shops, cafes, and restaurants.

Rua das Flores is one of the longest historic pedestrian only streets in Curitiba which has transformed into a street shopping mall.
There’s a lot of shopping to be had on Flower Street (Rua XV de Novembro), November 15 Street such as Scarpinni Calcados e Esportes, Renner, and Galeria Minerva.
You can also find artwork for sale from a street artist.
It’s also very common to see street performers such as mimes, clowns, musicians, and magicians.
Palace Avenue (Palácio Avenida) is one of the most important historical buildings of Curitiba which is currently the home of HSBC bank.
There is also a non-working historic stationary trolley displayed in front of Palacio Avenida.
There’s a ton of cafes and restaurants on Rua XV de Novembro such as Confeitaria das Familias, Lanches Haiti, Wing, and Mr. Chee (Mister em delicias).
There’s also street cart food such as Tapioca Doces and Salgadas.
When I was at the end of Flower Street, I was interviewed on camera by O Globo because they were intrigued about tourists visiting Curitiba during the World Cup.
