Chicken Little: “Help! Help! The sky is falling! I have to go tell the king!”
“Oh, help! The sky is falling!”
Henny Penny: “How do you know?”
Chicken Little: “I saw it with my own eyes, and heard it with my own ears, and part of it fell on my head!”
Just in case you missed the headlines today, and I’m not sure how you could since they probably fell on your head, 90% of the blogs in your RSS feed were probably on the same topic – apparently there is a limited time, amazing, great, won’t last, big deal from American Express.
“Don’t be afraid. The sky is not falling Chicken Little, The sky is not falling.”
I’m sure there will be other deals, but in case you want to get in on this one, here are just some of the dozens of posts about this one
And in other news Humpty Dumpty had a great fall and all the king’s horses and all the king’s men couldn’t put Humpty together again…
Clearly I have missed the boat!

A few weeks ago I did this, and have already earned 50K bonus Membership Reward Points. However, for a limited of time, American Express is offering 75,000 Membership reward points to people who s…

Wow, you got this posted quickly! Thanks for the laugh.
I cannot tell you how much I appreciate this post. Seriously, this happens several times a year with this exact same promotion, but alas, the sky is falling this time. for real.
So annoying! I actually avoid Boardingarea on days like these.
I am generally a bit ticked off when ten bloggers blog about the same thing, however after reading all the posts I think actually all the different posts (which are roughly the same) are actually acceptable because there is so much response! There is at least 20 comments on each post from each blogger (from the BA site at least) which seem to be legitimate, so that means there are at least several hundred people (depending on how you count commenter:viewer ratio) who benefited from the individual posts from each blogger. I guess not everyone goes to boardingarea.com!
Well done. Still waiting for the slow pokes like Hack my trip etc to get in on this party.
This won’t last………….. of course it won’t, but it’ll be back in a month or two and it’s time to recycle old posts.
Yep, same ol, same ol. Different day, same ol’ pimpin’
The best part is how many have decided the deal is worth two or three posts. The numbers are rather sad, actually.
thanks for posting, i missed this deal somehow…..Helen Keller
I can only say that they must get a lot of sign ups and a nice check for each. Why else would it look so ridiculous?
AMEX must’ve really upped the referral $$$ becsuse this offer is not all special as it comes arond evey few months!
Plus, i’d be shocked if any of those pimping this offer bothered to mention that no points would be give to any applicant that held any AMEX Business card in the past 12 months.
