Summer Cancun

My wife and I recently went on a Summer Cancun Beach Vacation.

We previously visited Cancun in October 2015 and we decided to return for another visit in the summer.

For our summer trip, we are primarily using miles and points in order for our trip as well as we are checking out one of the timeshare resorts where we will have to sit through a 90-120 minute presentation.

We booked the trip when I was offered a two-four night all-inclusive vacation package from a tour company for $300. The hook was that I would be required to attend a presentation at each location. $150 for a four night all-inclusive hotel made this a pretty compelling offer.

I normally am a bit skeptical about these offers; however, due to the low price, I figured it would be worth it to give it a shot.

Trip Details

We are flying to Cancun on American Airlines using miles redeemed at the saver level, for which we paid about $150 in taxes and fees for the flight.

We will be staying four nights at the Sandos Cancun Luxury Resort.

After we check out from Sandos, we will be staying two-nights at the Hyatt Zilara Cancun.

I previously wrote about my experience at Hyatt Zilara Cancun. The Hyatt Zilara Cancun is my favorite all inclusive hotel.

I redeemed points via the Chase Sapphire Preferred Credit Card and transferred them to Hyatt for the stay.
