Sheraton Cleveland Airport Hotel Review

I booked the Sheraton Cleveland Airport hotel using 2,000 Starpoints and $35 in cash since the rates were going for $179 + tax a night. I’m not sure what was going on in Cleveland, but I definitely scored a bargain. I chose the Sheraton Cleveland Airport because it was the most affordable and also I had an early flight the next day to Atlanta.

Even though the Sheraton Cleveland Airport hotel seems walkable from the airport terminal, it really isn’t. There are no pedestrian walkways, therefore you have to call the hotel to send over a shuttle to pick you up. Thankfully it only takes 1 minute for the free hotel shuttle to arrive due to its proximity of the location.

I was quite shocked at how beautiful the lobby was for an airport hotel. It was definitely modern in décor and also equipped with Sheraton @Link, the lobby business center.

I checked in at the front desk and was provided an upgrade to a Junior Suite. I asked for 500 Starpoints as a welcome amenity because there was free lounge access for Platinum guests. Evening appetizers and breakfast was provided in the lounge.

The Junior Suite is basically an oversized room with a sofa overlooking the King size bed. There was also an executive desk and closet in the room.

The bathroom was very small and contained a shower with the usual Sheraton amenities.

The best part about the room was the amazing view of the Cleveland airport where you can see planes take off and land.

I didn’t partake in any evening appetizers since I was out and about, but I did have breakfast the next morning in the Club Lounge.

The breakfast spread was very basic and contained fruits, juice, yogurt, cereal, bread, eggs, ham, bacon, and cubed cheese.

I only had the hot selection and it was adequate. The food was nothing to write home about, but I was hungry so I ate it.

The Sheraton Cleveland Airport hotel is definitely a basic no frills airport hotel with easy access to the airport. You can also catch the train to the city in the airport station which I took advantage of. I would definitely stay here again due to its low cash and points rate and ease of access to the airport and trains to the city.
