for some reason, my Eyewitness guidebook focused on the ornate exterior and didn’t mention the interior of this cathedral, so i was skeptical of having to pay to go inside. but it’s most definitely worth it! if you’re a fan of Russian Orthodox art and/or mosaics or just sacred art in general, you most definitely won’t be sorry.
