The Perfect End to a Day of Sportfishing

You may not think of dining at a Japanese sushi restaurant when visiting Mexico, but if you are in Cabo san Lucas, a visit to Nick San is a must. The restaurant began twenty years ago when Japanese chef Ma-sayuki Niikura visited Cabo and met the Mexican chef Angel Carbajal. Together they joined to create a restaurant with one of the most interesting and diverse menus on the Baja.
Tonight we were fortunate enough to have the sushi chefs at Nick San create an incredible nine course dinner using the Dorado we caught while sport fishing off the coast between Cabo and Todo Santos. Each dish was a variation of the house specialty dishes offered at Nick San.

The entire evening was absolutely perfect and I hope the pictures convey, in some small part, the exquisite nature of our evening at Nick San. The chefs certainly outdid themselves! Thank you Angel (owner) and Julio (manager).
