I got an email from US Airways stating that since I bought/gifted miles in 2012, that I can buy miles at a 100% bonus until Jan 31. If you didn’t get the email but bought or gifted miles in 2012, click on the link, enter your information, and you will see if you qualify for this promotion.
If you need to top off your account, then this would be the time to do it! And remember if you have the US airways card, you can get an award flight for as little as 20k miles.Here is a sample of what the miles would cost including your bonus miles:
1,000 +1,000 miles for $35
5,000 +5,000 miles for $175
10,000 + 10,000 miles for $350
Priority club tried to do this as well with a 40% bonus points but its not a good deal since you can book a room using cash & points and cancel the room and get back the points at a much better value. I wonder if other airlines or hotels will follow this promotion?!
