IHG is having a promo similar to the Big Win promo that they had at the beginning of the year. Each person must register and is given a tailored promo that they have to complete by December 31, 2014 to get either a certain amount of bonus points or 2 free nights.
Travel is Free did a great write up about how he is going to do the promo and stated that the standard offer seems to be stay 3 nights, stay 2 Saturdays, stay at 2 Holiday Inns, book 2 directly on the website, and download and book a night on the app.
I seem to have gotten a longer laundry list of items to complete to get either 21,500 points or 2 free nights:
7 nights at an IHG property
Download and book with the IHG app
Book 4 stays directly on the IHG website
Stay 3 Saturdays at an IHG property
Stay at 2 Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Resorts or Holiday Inn Club Vacation hotels
Pay for a stay with my IHG credit card
This promotion doesn’t seem like something I will be taking advantage of because I just don’t have that many stays that I’m going to do by the end of the year and 7 nights to complete just kills the deal for me. Hopefully you have gotten a better offer.
